After my husband and I recently moved to a small town, I often wondered how I could begin plowing the field in this new region where everyone already knows one another. Through the Beginning of Peace: Mother’s Words of Love Campaign, opened my heart to prepare small snack boxes of love to introduce myself to my neighbors.
With a thankful heart, I prepared small gifts for all 7 of my neighbors. Each person received the snack boxes with so much happiness and appreciation. I was even able to speak with the neighbor who lives directly across from me. While talking together, She was so happy to hear that I am a Christian and said, “Wow, I thank God for allowing you to move here. We should get together soon!”
Through this small effort, I could once again feel that love has the power to warmly open people’s hearts. I'm happy to share love and peace with my neighbors through the Beginning of Peace: The words of Mother's Love campaign.
