Many of us know how easily children can read the room. One afternoon while my husband and I were talking, there was a pause in our conversation, and suddenly my four-year-old started singing, “I love you. Thank you. I’m sooorry.” Then she gave us a shy smile after reminding us to practice the words of Mother’s love and peace in such a gracious way. Her gentle reminder instantly improved the tone of our conversation and made us all feel joyful together.
This morning, we decided to draw together and include the words of Mother‘s love and peace in our artwork. She was so proud and wanted to hang it on the wall as soon as she finished! Every time we look at it, we will remember to practice peaceful words together.
