Recently my work had a retirement party for one of our directors who had been working there for 20 years. We wanted to acknowledge his hard work so we prepared a box filled with thank you gifts. We also told him thank you for your service at our workplace and for our community. He was happy to receive the gift and for the words we expressed. It’s important to acknowledge one’s work even with words.
