Greeting in the Elevator

The elevator at work is often quiet as workers are arriving to the office for the start of their workday. Though several people take the elevator together, everyone looks at the wall silently as if no one is with them.

Now, when I get on the elevator, I try to say the Words of Mother's Love, "hello and good morning" to the ones I am joining. Amazingly, a simple “hello” with a smile instantly changes everyone’s mood and makes the ride to work more enjoyable.

I give thanks to Mother for allowing us to have bright smiles, for those around us!
