Greeting

Sister

My group in Zion is in charge of preparing snacks for after Third-Day service. We decided to prepare peanut butter jelly sandwiches. A sister and I decided to take charge of making the sandwiches. She spread the peanut butter, and I spread the jelly after. It was our first time working together. We had good teamwork, but we were working in complete silence.

Honestly, I find joy working in silence, but wants Zion to be a warm place. Since I am the older sister, I knew it was my duty to create that warmth.

I put The Words of Mother’s love into practice by asking “How was your day? How was work?” The heavy silence was lifted. That was the start of our first conversation. I am former military and sister is a police officer. We became closer as we chatted about our experiences.

It was a lovely time getting to know more about sister. I hope she also felt the same.

To my loving sister, next time we work together, I will warm up the kitchen even more by putting more of Mother’s words into practice. Let’s have more conversations with each other. Animo!
