GratitudeConsideration

The moment Mother’s words filled our home.

There was one New Year’s resolution I was determined to keep and that was making our home a place where God’s love truly dwells. Through the Mother’s Words of Love and Peace campaign, we were given a beautiful opportunity to share words with one another that can bring us even closer.

One day, while I was cleaning, moving quickly and a bit frantically without even realizing it, my daughter was watching me. She asked, “Mommy, do you need some help?” Her words stopped me in my tracks because I had never heard her say that before. I replied, “No, sweetie, it’s okay. Thank you—I’m almost done.” Then she said something I will never forget: “I just feel bad—you work so hard.”

Those words touched me deeply. They brought tears to my eyes, and even now, I still think about that moment. It reminded me how powerful words can be—how they stay with the people we share them with.

Since then, I’ve noticed changes in both of my children. My son has started expressing gratitude before going to bed, giving thanks for even the smallest moments of his day. As we’ve continued to practice speaking words of love and kindness, our home truly feels different—softer, warmer, and filled with peace. All thanks to Mother’s Words of Love and Peace Campaign!
