At Hoseong Church in Jeonju, there can be long lines at the restaurant even on weekdays.
I was very hungry and had to wait, the same time as a year.
I was thinking about how to create a simpler and more calming story with flowers.
I was reminded of the Mother’s Languages of Love Campaign.
We decided to hold a small exhibition on a white wall on one side of the restaurant, where the queues stand the longest.
Instead of the usual sticker board, decorate it like a visible piggy bank.
Participants were allowed to vote for the love language they practiced the most during the month with balls.
It is made with a transparent picture frame so you can see the marbles filling up.
The response was much better than when we delivered it in writing.
Everyone was joyful and began to recognize and put into practice the language of Mother’s love,
While voting, I asked, "Which love language do you want to practice next?" I made a commitment to myself.
With an added sense of accomplishment, participation from children and adults significantly increased.
Even those who are invited to the church for the first time can naturally take a look around the exhibition and understand the purpose of the Language of Mother’s Love Campaign. Seeing cheerful faces sharing warm words at home and at work, the atmosphere at the church grew brighter.
Just as God’s love gave light and became the way to a world where there was only darkness,
Through the words of Mother’s love, I feel that the warmth of love is increasing day by day.
P.S. Donation of New Member’s Artwork
One day, I was handed over a heartwarming calligraphy work with the phrase “the language of a mother’s love.”
After reading the story, looking at the exhibits, one new member said that the title seemed to be missing.
I placed it in the center as a heartfelt thank you for making and donating flowers along with your own drawings of flowers.
It’s so small it’s hard to see it in the photo.
We wanted to share a common theme with all members, so we used many agespecific monthly magazines.
