I had the opportunity to participate in a volunteer activity as a member of a local residents autonomous committee.
During a meeting with the recommended committee members, I was a bit embarrassed by this sharp conversation.
Notably, each committee member is someone with quite a bit of gibberish, such as apartment building representatives, bankbooks, Saemaul leaders, and chairpersons.
“Isn’t the reason I’m here here too, because we need the language of Mother’s love that brings peace?” I had a thought.
After that, we engaged in crime prevention activities together.
As soon as they arrived at the checkpoint, greet them warmly with a loud “Hello” and offer “Everyone, your time for the village. You are amazing. Thumbs up.” Laughter abounds throughout the activity.
He thanked an elderly committee member who participated despite being unwell and allowed him to take a rest. He expressed his gratitude by purchasing warm soymilk, coffee, and dated ssanghwatang (Korean traditional soup) soup. He was filled with joy and love.
As surely as we practice the words of Mother’s love, where there is peace, there is peace!
