Thanks to Father and Mother, on thursday 3 of us sisters were able to visit an event hosted by the Chief Of Tigard Police and share with him about Mother’s Words of Love and Peace campaign.
During the meeting Q&A, many of the participants were complaining about the current circumstances with ICE & demanding answers.
At that very moment, our Sister raised her hand to ask this one question using Mothers words of encouragement: "Thank you for all that you do, it's a thankless & tough job, what can we do as a community to support you?"
Chief Officer McDonald was moved & expressed his heart. He said, he appreciates a simple kind gesture like a "Thank you!" From that moment on the energy in the room changed. People after that started to say "thank you" before asking a question. A man even offered his reading glasses to the Chief of Police when he was having a hard time reading small print. Truly, Mother's Words of Love & Peace will change the world! 🌐💕
After the event, we got to speak with the chief officer. He felt moved enough by Mother’s campaign to personally help expedite our request of contacting the department that will assist in graffiti removal and mural painting in the Tigard area. Through the consistent efforts in actively participating in local community events, the chief officer McDonald remembered us from when we met with the mayor and other officers, and now he is even more eager to advance our cause. Thanks to Father and Mother for giving us an opportunity to show our genuine interest in improving Tigard community! 💖💖
