Two weeks ago, my husband and I had a misunderstanding, which caused awkwardness between us. Because I lacked understanding and judged him inconsiderately, we had an argument, and this led us to become cold toward one another.
Additionally, just three days ago, my husband got sick. His shoulder injury suddenly flared up again, and he needed assistance with some household chores. Because of this, I had to help him even though I still felt frustration and remorse toward him. However, as Mother has always reminded us to love one another and to have patient endurance, I removed the hatred and thorns from my heart and took care of him in every way I could. I cooked a delicious meal for him and even bought his favorite milk tea.
Even though the misunderstanding came from something small, I remembered Father and Mother continually reminding us to forgive our brothers and sisters even more than 99 times. With this in mind, I found the courage to speak to him gently. Forgiving others can be difficult, but I realized that if we cannot forgive one another and patiently endure the shortcomings of our brothers and sisters, Mother’s heart would be even more broken. Keeping this in mind, I prayed for my husband’s recovery and that he would quickly have a heart for the gospel.
Soon enough, my prayers were answered. When I woke up from a nap after a long day of work, I saw my husband study the Bible in good health. I hope that by practicing Mother’s love Language, my husband will be healthier and more passionate physically and mentally.
Thank You, Father and Mother
