While thinking about how to share Mothers Words with everyone around us, we thought about local government officials. We looked online to see if the local Mayor is having a town meeting. Come to find out, the Mayor was hosting a “meet the Mayor” event.
We went with the mission to share words of love from Mother.
Upon meeting the Mayor, we told him “we came just to say, thank you for caring about the community and working for the betterment of others. You are admirable and we want to say thank you. We support and appreciate you.”
The Mayor and his colleagues were so surprised by receiving kind words and asked “who are you and where do we come from?”
We replied “our Mother taught us to say kind words to others, therefore we are just doing what our Mother told us to do.”
The City Council was so pleased and happy to receive kind words from the youth, and showed great interest in learning more about us.
Through this, I realized the importance of following Mothers directions.
