As plants need light for photosynthesis, to maintain a lush life. Humans also need light as a compliment for a good life.
Once I understood the power of compliments, I tried to practice compliments with people around me.
As the saying goes: A compliment lives for two months.
By constantly looking for things to compliment, I realized how lovable the people around me were, even though I had previously only seen their flaws.
