I work for a Korean insurance company in the United States. For a long time, I struggled to connect with my coworkers and managers. Being the only Hispanic in my department, I often felt isolated, especially due to the language and cultural differences. Yet, deep in my heart, I always knew that my mission was to give them Mother's Love.
One thing Mother has continually emphasized is the importance of greeting. For a long time, I would come into the office and head straight to my cubicle without saying much. But I knew that wasn’t Mother’s will. So, I decided to change! With courage from the Words of Mother’s Love, I began greeting everyone, from the moment I saw them in the parking lot to walking through the office and greeting each person by name.
I began sharing Mother’s love through simple yet sincere words like “How are you?”, “After you,” and “I’m rooting for you.” Over time, the atmosphere began to change. My coworkers and managers started to open their hearts. They began telling me how much they appreciated my warm greetings and how kind I am.
By using the Mother's Word consistently, Mother's Love softened their hearts. My coworkers listened closely to my story, and some even became curious about my church.
Now, I can make a strong relationship with four of my coworkers!
I will continue to shine the light of Mother’s love through kind words and actions until everyone in my workplace hears.
