There is a grandmother in my neighborhood who is about 80 years old. She lives with her family and whenever we come out of the room, she asks, “Have you been away, daughter?” I always answer her with a smile and ask her how she is doing every time I see her.
Two days ago, I was coming home with my friend. When we arrived in front of his house, it was raining heavily and he was hurriedly bringing the corn he was drying inside, hoping that it wouldn't get wet. We also helped him for a while and moved the corn inside. After helping him, we came to the room.
But the next morning, my grandmother came looking for my room. She was carrying a bag, and she took out some corn from it and gave it to me, saying, “Thank you for helping me yesterday.” I realized once again that even a small help can make others happy.
