Recently, my niece had a soccer game, and I planned to root for my niece by making a sign!
I told her the night before that I was going to make her a sign saying, "Go Peighton!". She told me that she didn't want me to make it, but I did it anyway. My son helped me create it too!
When I showed up at her game, I was cheering her on & holding up the sign. Ironically, the director for my niece's soccer league was there. He approached me & told me that he loved the sign! I told him that I was so proud of my niece & I'm her number one fan!
After the game, my niece told me that even though she didn't want me to make the sign, she was actually glad I made it. She felt very encouraged & played even harder than before! It made me feel so joyful and happy to cheer for my niece!
Mother has always been cheering for me! Her encouragement gives me strength!
I'm thankful for her perfect example, so I can cheer on others!
