I have a friend who works as a receptionist in a 5 star hotel lounge.
I always say to him "You are doing an easy work than me. It is very easy to work like you but my work is very hard."
And I always say "You don't have much responsibility rather just greeting the guest."
But one day my friend had to go to his village on sudden because of the news of his relative's death.
there was no one available to compensate his shift as the receptionist at that time
so he requested me to attend to his duty instead of him for one shift ... then I said arrogantly that "Your work is just to sit there right, I can do that easily"
But when I attended, there was the first guest who came as now a receptionist I kept silent,
the guest was looking awkward to me and by seeing my behavior he refused to stay in the lounge
And the second guest asked me "Why are you so serious?"
And the third says this hotel's reputation will go down by this receptionist [me]..
By listening to all these words I suddenly became low and i remembered my friend who can happily satisfy his customer and remembered that it is very hard to be in his shoes ...
Once he returned back I changed by behavior towards him and practiced the Words of Mother's Love saying. "I am sorry. it must have been hard on you"
Then he felt into tears and very happy now... and we continued the friendship happily
