One day, I prepared apples and persimmons to share with my co-workers as snacks.
My co-worker liked persimmons, and he said, “Persimmons are better than apples.”
‘Why is that? I guess . . .’ I thought.
I was reminded of the “Respect” item in the campaign, and I put into practice “I want to hear more from you.”
He explained that he liked the sweet persimmon rather than the sour taste of apples.
I realized that there is nothing wrong with having a different opinion, and I was able to have a good time with my co-workers.
It may be a small incident, but I could understand the meaning of Mother’s Love Day and Peace Day.
